We are the owners of the property, Claire and Chris, we now live in Portugal. For the last 18 months the property has been on a long term let and this is the first time we have advertised it for holiday use so we have a lot of dates available. The previous tenants used their own furniture, so most of the furniture in the apartment is brand new. The apartment has TV, English SKY (the free channels if you have sky at home you could bring your card) DVD player, fully equipped kitchen, large sunny living room with 2 brand new sofas (1 is a sofa bed) large sunny terrace with outdoor seating and a hammock, full very cold air-con, ceiling fans. The complex is a 5 min drive away from the closest beach or walk down the hill and get a taxi back(approx €6) and has 8 beaches within 15 mins drive. There is a large swimming pool with sun-beds and shade on the complex. In Calahonda there are about 40 restaurants, 50 bars 20 coffee shops and more than 10 supermarkets, golf is also on your door step and if you drive for 10 mins you can get to 8 of the best golf courses that the Costa Del Sol offers. The price of the week will include all bedding and towels (not pool towels). The apartment was new in 2008 and we paid €280,000 for it so as you can expect it’s very nice. £50 deposit to be paid via PayPal and the rest via bank transfer to my UK or Spanish bank account. £100 as a refundable deposit returned at the end of your holiday. Malaga airport is a 25 min drive away. The closet restaurants and bars are a 10 min walk or a 2 min drive. As we live in Portugal you will be met by our property rental manager James he will be on hand if you have any questions whilst you are staying in the apartment. We have been staying in the apartment and the weather has been about 28-32 degrees. Yes all bills are included in the price. We drove over via France and it took about 30 hours and cost about €500. Puerto Banus with its lovely waterside restaurants has many boat trips on offer. Gibraltar is about one and a half hours drive where duty free shopping at Marks & Spencer, Safeway etc. can be enjoyed. The lovely tourist attraction Mijas is also about twenty minutes drive away. Public transport is readily available and reasonably priced. There are many lovely walks along the vast coastline. Granada is about two and a half hours drive with the Alhambra palace a must see for tourists. Skiing can also be enjoyed there in the Sierra Nevada’s.
