Objectives: Develop critical awareness of the changing nature of work Set achievable goals for work experience Utilise learning opportunities presented in the work environment Apply work skills to consolidate learning in the vocational area Understand how work is planned and organised at different levels in a specific vocational area Outline Training Plan: The specific learning outcomes are grouped in 3 units. Unit 1: Planning and Preparation Unit 2: Experience Unit 3: Review of Experience Training Duration: Learners undertaking Placement or Practice nodes of work experience must work the equivalent of ten to fifteen working days. A minimum of ten days must be completed in the placement or practice situation. The remaining five days may be made up of current relevant work, paid or unpaid. Course Fee: Upon request (discounted group and FÁS/CE participant) Record System Access Database, as approved by FETAC. All results are recorded on our database and comply with the Data Protection Act 1988.Project and Examination. Assessment & Certification: All assessment is devised by the Internal Assessor, with external modification by FETAC.
