Materials We Work With

Natural stone holds up well if it’s laid properly with decent drainage underneath. Block paving gives you flexibility for repairs later. Porcelain tiles are popular now, especially the ones that look like natural stone but handle the weather better.

For fencing, we stick mainly to pressure treated timber. Concrete posts where the ground conditions need them. The wooden panels take the coastal conditions fine if they’re maintained every few years.

Artificial grass has come on loads in the last five years. The quality stuff looks proper now, not like the old astroturf. Popular with families who want a decent looking garden without the maintenance.
