When the sun actually shows up, you want to be outside. Not staring at a cracked concrete slab or a garden that’s half mud, half regret.

How a typical installation week goes

No two jobs are the same. But the process is the same every time, and that’s the point.

1. Excavation. We dig out to the right depth. Simple as that.
2. Sub-base. Compacted MOT Type 1 hardcore, done properly.
3. Bedding layer. Sharp sand or a cement mix depending on the material.
4. Laying. This is where the eye for levels matters most.
5. Jointing. Polymeric sand or mortar, tight and finished.
6. Cleaning. We leave it clean. Every job.

Straight about the work

We don’t oversell it. A patio is groundwork. It either drains correctly or it doesn’t. It either sits level five years on or it doesn’t. (Most problems we’re called to fix come down to a sub-base that was rushed.) We take that part seriously because the slab on top is only as good as what’s underneath.
