Who we are

: Portmarnock, County Dublin. That is where we are based, and it is where most of our work is.

We cover the north Dublin coastal stretch day in, day out. If you have seen our van parked near the Donnycarney Bus Garage end of town or out on the northside estates, that is us, grafting through the week.

What we do

We fit, replace, and repair guttering systems on homes and commercial properties. The materials we work with most are below.

• uPVC gutters and downpipes in half-round, ogee, and square-line profiles
• Aluminium seamless guttering run to measure on site
• Cast iron systems, where restoration is the right call
• Soffit and fascia boards in uPVC
• Leaf guards and gutter mesh fitted properly, not just clipped on
• Hopper heads, rainwater outlets, and water butt diverters

One thing that catches people out is the downpipe back plate masonry fixing. Get that wrong and the downpipe pulls away from the wall inside a year. We pin those fixings into solid masonry and seal around them properly.

Common questions

Can you work in winter or when it is raining?

Mostly yes, but it depends. Fitting new fascia or soffit in heavy rain is not something we will do, because the boards need to go on dry. Gutter repairs and clearing blockages, however, we can handle in most conditions. Winter is actually one of our busiest times, it is gas really, because that is when leaks make themselves known. Give us a ring and we will be straight with you about whether the job can go ahead.

How does the job go?

We come out, look at what is there, and tell you what it needs. Bracket re-spacing for proper fall, connection to your existing soakaway, alignment on a sagging run, whatever the issue is, we sort it on the day where we can.
