How we approach the work

Proper fall is something a lot of people overlook. Re-spacing gutter brackets to achieve the correct gradient makes a real difference to how well the system sheds water. On older properties especially, we often find the original bracket spacing is too wide and the guttering has begun to sag (which is usually when the overflow and damp patches start showing up indoors).

On newer installations, we regularly fit a concealed gutter bracket fixing system, which gives a much cleaner finish along the fascia line and is honestly just tidier to look at.

A common question we get asked

How long does a full gutter replacement take? On a standard semi-detached house, we’d typically complete a full strip-out and replacement in a single day, assuming the fascia boards underneath are sound. If the fascia needs replacing as well, allow for two days.

We’re based in Portrane and cover the wider Fingal area regularly. We’ve done roofline work on houses near St. Brigid’s GAA Club in Blanchardstown, right across to the coastal stretches of North Dublin. However long the job takes, the aim is always a clean, properly draining system.
