Rain gets in everywhere here. I’ve been up on ladders across Dublin for years, and the one thing that never changes is how fast a blocked or broken gutter can cause serious damage to a property. We work across D10 and the surrounding areas, sorting guttering problems before they become something worse.

A lot of what we deal with is the older housing stock. The red brick terraces and pebble-dash semi-detached houses that make up most of Ballyfermot and its neighbouring areas were built for a different era of rainwater management. Gutters sag. • Leaf guards and gutter mesh fitted to reduce blockages

We also deal with more specific jobs, like a parapet wall lead flashing junction where water is pooling at the roof edge and backing up into the gutter run. That kind of detail work gets missed. We don’t miss it.

A Typical Installation Day

1. Survey the roofline and check fascia condition before anything else
2. Strip out old guttering and clear the area
3. Replace any rotten fascia boards before fixing new brackets
4. Set bracket spacing for proper fall toward the outlet
5. Fit and seal new gutter runs and downpipes
6. Connect to existing drainage at ground level
7. Clean up and test the full run with water

Tidy work matters. A badly aligned gutter (even one that looks fine from the street) will overflow at the first heavy shower.
